We currently have four breeding females, Panda,Molly and Trixie, Golden Retrievers, and Nika, an English Cream Retriever, who will soon be a first-time mommy.  Our stud, Rascal, is a white Standard Poodle. Our Golden retriever Maddy has just retired from being a mommy and is enjoying the good life. We also have Kimah, an English cream Retreiver that will join our breeding program in 2012. They are all part of our family and receive daily one-on-one attention and enjoy many activities with us.

   All of our dogs have received their eye certifications from CERF (Canine Eye Registry Foundation). Rascal and Panda have  received a rating of Good on their OFA(Orthopedic Foundation For Animals) hip evaluation and normal on their elbows. This information can be viewed on the OFA website, offa.org  You can search them by their official names, Abbey's Rascal Ratchet and Panda Bear of Abbeywood. Molly has her Penn-hip clearances which are not rated using pass or fail, but rather on percentiles and presence of displastic symptoms. Her ratings are high which would correlate to a rating of good with OFA.

   Molly is our newest member of the family. She comes to us from a ranch in Safford, AZ. She's not exactly sure how far away that is but she is sure that it is much hotter there than here at Abbey Acres. She is an all-around good gal. She goes with the flow and loves everyone. She is 3/4 English cream and 1/4 American golden retriever.

Trixie is a fun-loving golden that enjoys walking the 10 acres with Mom and and fetching the ball but not necessarily bringing it back. She is always the life of the party. She is intrigued by the family cats, Tiki and Cocoa.

Panda is a silky-haired light golden retriever. She loves squeaky toys and playing with all of the puppies. She will always be a puppy at heart. She can jump high and run long distances. She maintains the land speed record for ball fetching at Abbey Acres.

This is Rascal. He enjoys playing games, chasing rabbits and watching our two cats. He is a white standard poodle from champion bloodlines. He takes Mom for regular jogs and is a great pacer.

 Nika is a beautiful English Cream Retriever and will bring us our first Teddybear Goldendoodles in mid-2011. She is shorter and stockier than our American Golden Retrievers and comes from Canadian Champion parents.

Maddy is enjoying her retirement. She is responsible for helping to start Abbey Acres Goldendoodles and will always have a very special place in the Abbey Family. She enjoys long swims in the lake, gardening (chewing on grass) and beautiful sunsets.
